How We Decide What to Treat First
Most plans here start by taking something off the table. A short note on why a first appointment is mostly questions.
Almost every first appointment here starts the same way, and it is not with a treatment. It starts with a conversation about what you actually want to change, and in what order.
The order matters more than the menu
People usually arrive with a treatment name already in mind, picked up from a friend or from a video. That is a fine place to start a conversation and a poor place to end one. What we do first is work out what your skin is doing right now, what your week looks like, and how much downtime you can genuinely give up.
Those three answers rule a lot of options out, and ruling options out is most of the work.
Fewer things, done properly
A plan that tries to address everything at once tends to address nothing well. We would rather do one thing properly, see how your skin responds to it, and decide the next step from what actually happened rather than from what was supposed to happen.
That is also why we would sometimes rather you booked nothing at all today. If the honest answer is that the thing you came in for is not the thing to start with, you should hear that in the room, not six weeks later.
Come and ask
If you are weighing two options and cannot choose between them, that is exactly the conversation a consultation is for. Bring the goal, and we will tell you honestly what we can do, what we cannot, and what it would take.
No judgment. Just treatment.
